These terms apply when you download or use Sudoku: Daily Brain Puzzles (the "app") and this website. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Who can use the app

The app is meant for people aged 13 and over. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and approve any purchases.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:

• copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it;
• use cheats, bots, modified versions or exploits to gain coins, XP, achievements or leaderboard positions;
• interfere with the app's ads, purchases or services, or use the app for anything unlawful.

The app, its puzzles, artwork, sounds, music and name belong to Damurka or its licensors. The Nunito typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.

3. Sudoku Pro

Sudoku Pro is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. It removes ads and adds the extras described in the app at the time you buy it. It's tied to your Google account, and you can restore it on another device with Restore purchases in the Shop. We may add, change or improve Pro features over time, but we won't take away its core promise of no ads.

4. Coins and other virtual items

Coins, XP, levels, themes, hints and awards are virtual items for use inside the game only. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or anything outside the app, and can't be transferred or sold. You can earn coins by playing or buy coin packs. Coins are stored on your device, so clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes them, and they can't be recovered. We may adjust prices, rewards and how virtual items work, for example to keep the game balanced.

5. Payments and refunds

All purchases are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service. Prices are shown in the app and on Google Play and may vary by country. Refund requests are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Contact us if a purchase didn't arrive and we'll help sort it out. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or consumer rights you have by law.

6. Ads

The free version is supported by ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for a bonus. Ads are provided by third parties, and we aren't responsible for the products or websites they advertise. Your ad and privacy choices are explained in the Privacy policy.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on services run by others, including Google Play, Google Play Games, AdMob and Firebase. Your use of them is also subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for their availability or actions.

8. Updates and availability

We may update the app, add or remove features, change daily challenges and rewards, or stop offering the app. We aim to keep it working well but don't promise it will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device. Some features, such as ads, purchases and leaderboards, need an internet connection.

9. Disclaimer

The app is a game, provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Mandatory consumer guarantees that apply where you live are not affected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Damurka isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data or virtual items, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by cheating or tampering with the app. Sections 4, 9, 10 and 12 continue to apply after that.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
